MUSICAL INFLUENCE

Kelley, an American Fiddler, has many musicians and composers that have shaped her interest in music. Her favorites are Alastair Fraser, Bonnie Rideout, and Natalie MacMaster. Her favorite style to play is traditional Scottish and Irish music or Gaelic folk, with her musician friends from the Highlands of Scotland. Every year she travels to parts of the United States and Scotland to learn new music, play in traditional Ceilidhs, and get on stage with a few traditional folk musicians. She can be seen playing in Edinburgh and on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. She has also been seen on a few stages in Bar Harbor, Maine with some award-winning artists playing American country and celtic music.

CELTIC / SCOTTISH

Kelley has traveled all over Europe with her fiddle and her swords, stopping most often in Scotland in Edinburgh, Glasgow, and the Isle of Skye. If she is not training and competing in Classical fencing at a huge castle near a major European city, she is learning new songs and playing on stage or in a ceilidh with her fiddle.
